Everything you need to know about NetRun.

Getting Started
NetRun is a tool built specifically for gig delivery drivers. It tells you instantly whether an offer is worth accepting, tracks every mile you drive, and helps you understand exactly what you're earning — and what you're spending — on every shift.
Yes — NetRun is free for 14 days with full access to every feature. No credit card required to start. After your trial, it's $4.99/month. You can also save with a 3-month, 6-month, or annual plan. See Pricing for details.
Yes — a free account is required to use NetRun. This lets us save your runs, settings, and shift history across sessions so your data is always there when you need it.
NetRun works with any gig delivery platform — DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, Amazon Flex, and more. You enter the offer details manually, so it works regardless of which platform you're on.
The Calculator
Enter the payout offered and the trip distance. NetRun calculates your estimated gas cost based on your MPG and local gas price, then tells you your net profit and whether the offer is worth it — all before you accept.
The IRS standard mileage rate ($0.725/mile for 2026) is the amount the IRS allows you to deduct from your taxable income for every mile driven for work. It covers gas, depreciation, maintenance, and more. NetRun tracks your total miles so you can maximize this deduction at tax time.
DoorDash, Uber Eats, and other platforms only track miles while you have an active order. Your return trip to the pickup zone isn't counted — but that gas still came out of your pocket. NetRun counts round trip miles because the IRS lets you deduct all of them.
NetRun marks an offer as worth it if your net profit after gas is positive. Borderline means you're barely breaking even. Not worth it means you'd be losing money once gas is factored in. You can adjust your MPG and gas price in Settings to make sure the numbers match your actual vehicle.
Tracking & Shifts
After calculating a trip, tap "+ Log This Run" to save it. Your runs are stored in the Summary tab where you can view them by day, week, month, or year. You can also export them as a CSV file.
The Shift tab lets you clock in when you start dashing and clock out when you're done. It tracks your total shift time, runs completed, gross earnings, gas cost, net profit, and your effective hourly rate — so you always know if your shift was worth it.
Not currently. DoorDash and Uber do not offer public APIs that allow third-party apps to access your earnings data. NetRun uses manual entry — which takes about 3 seconds per offer — and gives you full control over your data without sharing your account credentials with anyone.
NetRun's trip mileage is an estimate for offer evaluation — not an IRS-compliant mileage log. The IRS requires records that include the date, destination, business purpose, and odometer readings for every trip. NetRun does not track your GPS or odometer automatically.

For tax purposes, we recommend using a dedicated mileage tracking app like Stride or MileIQ alongside NetRun, or using NetRun's optional odometer feature to record your start and end odometer reading each shift. The odometer method gives you the most accurate and defensible record if you're ever audited.

The IRS mileage deduction figures shown in NetRun's Summary tab are estimates based on the miles you enter — always verify with a qualified tax professional before filing.
Logged run miles are the estimated distances you enter when calculating each trip. They're useful for evaluating offers and seeing your approximate totals — but they can be off, especially when orders are stacked or your route changes mid-run.

Odometer miles are the actual miles your car traveled during a shift, recorded from your dashboard. You enter your odometer reading at the start and end of each shift, and NetRun calculates the difference. This is the more accurate figure and the one recommended for IRS reporting.

NetRun keeps both records separately so you always have both the quick estimate and the verified number.
Yes — your run history, settings, and preferences are saved to your device. As long as you use the same browser and device, your data will be there. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your history will not transfer at this time. Cloud sync is on the roadmap.
Taxes & Mileage
NetRun helps you stay aware of your mileage and earnings throughout the year. The Summary tab shows an estimated IRS mileage deduction based on the miles you enter — giving you a running picture of what you may be able to deduct come tax time.

For the most accurate records, use NetRun's odometer feature to log your start and end odometer reading each shift. That gives you verified mileage your accountant can actually use. You can also export your run history as a CSV as a supplemental reference — but always pair it with odometer records or a dedicated mileage tracker for full IRS compliance. Consult a tax professional before filing.
As a self-employed gig worker, the IRS requires you to pay taxes four times a year — not just once in April. NetRun's "This Year" summary shows an estimated quarterly payment based on your net earnings. This is an estimate only — consult a tax professional for accurate guidance.
NetRun helps you track your earnings and mileage, but it's not a substitute for professional tax advice. For straightforward gig income, TurboTax Self-Employed or H&R Block handle Schedule C well. For more complex situations, a CPA who works with self-employed clients is worth it.
Account & Billing
After 14 days, you'll be prompted to subscribe to continue using NetRun. No credit card is required during the trial — you only enter payment info when you decide to subscribe. Your run history and data are preserved.
You can cancel anytime from your Account page. There are no cancellation fees and no hoops to jump through. If you cancel before your billing period ends, you keep access until the end of that period.
Yes. NetRun uses Supabase for authentication with industry-standard encryption. Your account is protected and your data is never sold to third parties. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — NetRun never sees or stores your card details.
NetRun accepts all major credit and debit cards via Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Apple Pay and Google Pay support coming soon.
The App
NetRun can be added to your home screen directly from your browser — no app store needed. Visit Get the App for step-by-step instructions for your specific phone and browser.
Partially. The calculator and basic features work offline once the app is loaded. However, logging in and syncing your account require an internet connection. Full offline support is on the roadmap.
NetRun works in any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Samsung Internet, Edge, Opera, and Safari. For the best home screen install experience on Android, use Chrome, Firefox, or Brave. On iPhone, Safari is required for home screen installation due to Apple's restrictions.
